General Monthly for Month Commencing: Friday 01 July 2022

   Aries Friday 01 July 2022  Mar 21 - Apr 19
While Mars will leave Aries on 5th July, just starting the month and being able to move into the second half of the year with the warrior planet of the cosmos and your ruling planet here is a huge advantage. This is Mars’ first visit in two years but what is significant this time, is that returning just days after Jupiter’s return you are moving into a new two year Mars and a new 12 year Jupiter cycle of expansion at the same time. With Jupiter not only staying on but not finally leaving Aries until May 2023, this has injected a lot of energy into this early phase.

When Mars leaves and turns his warrior spirit onto fighting for what you deserve on the income front, Jupiter will already be slowing down ahead of a retrograde turn on 29th July. This will see a lot of the urgency and the rush mentality of the last two months drop back, though things could be more intense in these final days. That is because Mars spent the final days of June aligned with the dwarf planet Eris, something that every two years will bring the warrior prince and princess of the cosmos together. This was the push to get motivated and to make the most of Mars’ final days before leaving Aries on 5th July.

It is then that Mars will return to your income sector, where 12 days after Venus, the planet of money left there will be plenty of untapped income potential for him to exploit. Meanwhile, Venus has moved on and until leaving your communication sector on 20th July is on a mission to give your heart and your relationships a voice. Having Mercury, the planet of communication in your communication sector until 5th July will be an advantage. Meanwhile, as always, the Sun will spend the first three weeks of July shining the solar spotlight onto home and family matters before turning the solar spotlight onto matters of the heart and all things fun, playful, romantic and creative on 23rd July.

   Taurus Friday 01 July 2022  Apr 20 - May 20
While your birthday month ended back in May, as you move into the new month and into the second half of the year it has only been a week since Venus left Taurus. Having begun the year in retrograde motion, Venus has been running behind schedule ever since, not returning to give your heart a voice and a say in what you want from your new solar year until after your birthday month was over. However, Venus returned just as Mercury had retrograded back in for a double dip visit, giving you a chance to put heart and mind on the same page and around your options much later in the year than is normally expected.

Even though Venus left a week before you moved into the new month, this will prove to be a huge advantage when Mars returns to Taurus on 5th July. Unlike the launch of a new solar year, which happens at the same time every year, Mars can return at any time to begin a new two year Mars cycle. Returning a week after Venus left and had conveniently just finished giving your heart a voice, Mars will have something to fight for from the start as he returns to fuel your passions, drive, competitive and warrior spirit. Meanwhile, Venus is still running behind schedule and while the Sun has been gone from your income sector for 10 days by the time you move into the new month, until leaving on 18th July she will be working to make these some of the most lucrative weeks of the year.

Yet knowing that Mars will return to begin a rare seven month visit next month, Venus is less focused on what you can achieve now and more on how she can set things up. Meanwhile, as always, the Sun will spend the first three weeks of July in your communication sector with Mercury, the planet of communication’s return on 5th July making it even easier to connect. While Mercury will leave on 20th July and the Sun on 23rd July, they set things up nicely for Venus, who will return on 18th July to give your heart and your relationships a voice.

   Gemini Friday 01 July 2022  May 21 - Jun 21
As you move into the new month it has been 10 days since the Sun left Gemini, bringing your birthday month and the launch of this new solar year to an end. However, when it comes to exploring your options or getting a sense of what you want from the coming year, this is still very much a work in progress. Even Mercury, who will leave Gemini on 5th July is less focused on tying up the loose ends of your game plan and resolutions for the coming year than he normally would. Venus began the year in retrograde motion and while she has been back in direct motion for months, this has slowed her down.

Still running behind schedule, Venus was late to return to Gemini this year, not returning until two days after your birthday month ended. Late to return Venus will also be late to leave and until 18th July will continue to give your heart a voice as you look to what you want from the coming year. Yet even then there will be a call to keep your options open, as Venus works to leave you wanting more than seems possible now. That is because your heart knows that when Mars returns to begin a rare seven month visit to Gemini next month, this will blow your options wide open.

Meanwhile, as is always the case, the Sun will spend the first three weeks of July in your income sector, shining the solar spotlight on your income situation, matters and options. Mercury’s return on 5th July will give you the smart head for money needed to get your head in the game and to think on your feet, while Venus’ return on 18th July begins what can be the most lucrative weeks of any year. With the support of Neptune and the asteroid Juno in your career sector and the South Node in your work sector, this should be a good month across the income, work and career fronts but with no need to reinvent the wheel professionally. This is more a chance to exploit what has already been invested.

   Cancer Friday 01 July 2022  Jun 22 - Jul 22
Whether you are a June or a July born Cancer, this is your birthday month and with it a chance for a reset. While this has brought you to the start of your birthday month and new solar year without any major planetary influences things are fairly ordinary, you have a team of planets that are returning at the right time to give you an empowered start to this new solar year. It was just over five weeks before the Sun’s return that the dwarf planet returned to Cancer to begin her first deep dive into your needs and priorities in five years. While this has allowed you to move into this new solar year with a better sense of your needs and priorities for the coming year, this is something that will continue to evolve.

Ceres is here until 24th July, a day after your birthday month ends on 23rd July. Mercury’s return on 5th July will have a more practical focus and while only here for 15 days, allows you to get your head in the game, ideas on the table and the communication lines open. Venus is the last planet to return to Cancer this year, finally giving your heart a voice when she returns on 18th July. For 48 hours, from Venus’ return on 18th July to Mercury’s departure on 20th July, every planet that will return to Cancer this year will be here at the same time, giving you everything needed to move into the final days of your birthday month and the solar year ahead with confidence.

It is then that all but Venus will return to your income sector, beginning what has the potential to be the most lucrative months of 2022. However, long before that, it is having Mars in your career sector until 5th July and Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion staying on that is first creating the professional momentum that you can then capitalise on financially. Meanwhile, Mars’ return to your friendship sector will begin what will be a good seven weeks for personal and professional networking, friendship and relationship building.

   Leo Friday 01 July 2022  Jul 23 - Aug 22
While there might be a relaxed and even languid or leisurely feel to the new month, that won’t always be the case. The Sun will always spend the first three weeks of July in a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart, with the month long wind down of your old solar year underway. Adding to a lack of urgency is that Venus not only left your career sector a week before moving into the new month but Mars, in his final days in an adventurous part of your chart continues to fuel a passion for adventure. This might make it hard to keep your work hat on in the early part of the month but it is important that you don’t fight this.

Even the professional gods are urging you to keep your work and professional hats off in the early days of the month, making the most of what is a short chance to catch your breath. While the wind down of your old solar year will continue until the Sun’s return to Leo on 23rd July, it is your professional year that is about to catch its second wind. While it might appear that Venus’ departure from your career sector and the fact that Pluto is in retrograde motion in your work sector has seen things dial back professionally, this is just a temporary lull.

Things will roar back into life when on 5th July Mars, the planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos will return to your career sector for the first time in two years. Not leaving until 20th August and further fired up by a Full Moon in your work sector on 14th July, this is the start of what could be the two most exciting months of this professional year. Meanwhile, as Saturn spends his first full month in retrograde motion in your relationship sector, he and your relationships are getting a lot of support from Mercury, the planet of communication in your friendship sector until 5th July and Venus, the planet of love until 18th July.

   Virgo Friday 01 July 2022  Aug 23 - Sep 22
While the first planet to reach Virgo this year won’t return until early next month, this will not only be led by the return of Mercury, your ruling planet but on 3rd August, nearly three weeks before your birthday month and new solar year are due to begin. Already preparations are in play and even before the Sun returns to begin the month long wind down of this current solar year on 23rd July, you may find that you are starting to sense change in the air. It helps that this is likely to be an exciting and vibrant month on many levels, with Mars playing a big part in this.

Until leaving your financial sector on 5th July and fired up after an alignment with the dwarf planet Eris in the closing days of June, Mars will continue to fuel your financial passions and fighting spirit along with a drive to take your financial power back. Once Mars leaves Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion will stay on and with a 12 month focus on financial growth and expansion running through to May 2023, it will then become more about the journey. It is then that things will take an exciting turn, when Mars returns to your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery on 5th July.

This is Mars’ first visit in two years and until leaving on 20th August he will fuel a passion for adventure and a hunger for life’s richer experiences. This will put Mars on friendly terms with Pluto, in retrograde motion in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart. This will see the planets of war and revolution join forces to declare war on a life that is all work and no play. Yet with Venus not leaving your career sector until 18th July and Saturn in his first full month in retrograde motion in your work sector, this is a good month for new career and untapped job potential.

   Libra Friday 01 July 2022  Sep 23 - Oct 23
While the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of July in your career sector, something that puts the solar spotlight on your career and professional situation, matters and options at this time every year, this also brings you to an important turning point in this professional year. It was in the final days of June that Neptune turned retrograde in your work sector, slowing things down while shifting the focus onto the past, second chances and untapped job potential. After the adrenaline ride that the first five months of the year had taken you on, this is a chance to pull back and focus more on exploiting what has already been invested.

Your work sector is the busiest part of your chart so this will see life become less busy while at the same time new doors are opening and there are new career options to explore. While the Sun will leave on 23rd July, Venus’ return on 18th July will keep this going well into next month. Before then, Venus will be working to make her final weeks in an adventurous part of your chart count, just as Saturn is spending his first full month in retrograde motion in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart.

This and a drop in urgency on the job front should make it easier to find a balance between work and play while still enjoying what should be a good month professionally. Meanwhile, while things could be a little heated on the relationship front at the start of the month, until leaving your relationship sector on 5th July, Mars is firing up a drive to fight for what you want from your relationships and what they need from you. With Jupiter staying on in your relationship sector, this is something your relationships will continue to benefit from. Your relationships will also benefit from the support they will get as first Mercury, the planet of communication returns to your friendship sector on 20th July and the Sun on 23rd July.

   Scorpio Friday 01 July 2022  Oct 24 - Nov 21
While the month might get off to a busy start, this is something that will not only start to dial back from 5th July but you will continue to benefit from for months to come. Mars, the warrior planet of the cosmos returns to your work sector every two years and they can be some of the busiest weeks of any year, with his final days often the most frantic. What has fired things up even more was that Mars spend the final days of June aligned with the dwarf planet Eris, something that every two years will bring the warrior prince and princess of the cosmos together.

This is just separating as you move into the new month but with your warrior and competitive spirit fuelled along with Mars’ urgent drive to make things happen. That will drop back when Mars leaves on 5th July but with Jupiter staying on and your biggest year for job growth and expansion extending out to May 2023, this has set things in motion that will continue to evolve. However, you can only sustain Mars’ hectic pace for so long and but with your foot flat to the floor for so long, it could take a while before the pace drops back. Helping with that is Jupiter’s retrograde turn on 29th July.

Meanwhile, this will see Mars return to your relationship sector just 12 days after Venus left, giving you a sense of what you want from your relationships and what they need from you from the start. Venus has moved on and until leaving your financial sector on 20th July she will be wearing her planet of money hat, making this a good time for money matters. It is then that Venus will join the Sun, Mercury and the dwarf planet Ceres in an adventurous part of your chart, just days before they are due to leave. This will ensure the spirit of adventure remains strong, something that will make it easier to find a better balance between work and play.

   Sagittarius Friday 01 July 2022  Nov 22 - Dec 21
Starting the month with Mars not only in his final days in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart and with his romantic and creative passions and fighting spirit having just been refuelled, will make it easier to pay lip service to a need to make a balance between work and play a priority. After spending the final days of June aligned with the dwarf planet Eris, something that brought the warrior prince and princess of the cosmos together, no matter how busy life gets they are fighting to keep the playful side of life’s fence alive.

However, this might become more of a challenge when Mars not only leaves on 5th July but returns to your busy and industrious work sector. This is Mars’ first visit in two years and returning just 12 days after Venus, the last of the faster planets left, the warrior planet returns to find everything lined up and active. All Mars has to do is add his warrior and competitive spirit to the mix and this professional year has all of a sudden caught its second wind. While Jupiter and Eris will stay on in a playful part of your chart, you may need to work harder to maintain the balance between work and play that is key to maintaining your productivity and creativity.

Meanwhile, as always, the Sun will spend the first three weeks of July in your financial sector. The Sun will not only keep the solar spotlight on your financial situation and money matters until leaving on 23rd July, with Mercury here from 5th July to 20th July, the dwarf planet Ceres until 24th July and Venus from 18th July, every planet that will visit your financial sector this year will spend at least part of the month here. Venus will stay on as the Sun, Mercury and Ceres leave and return to an adventurous part of your chart, helping to maintain that all important balance between work and play.

   Capricorn Friday 01 July 2022  Dec 22 - Jan 19
This year is about to become a lot more exciting, making this a month where you can’t judge a book by its cover. However, even so, what you see at the start of the month is good news, just not as exciting as things are about to become. You begin the month with Venus and Mercury still in your work sector, continuing what the Sun began over recent months. Until leaving on 5th July, Mercury allows you to work smarter, get your head in the game, ideas on the table and the communication lines open while until leaving on 18th July, Venus will work to fuel your job confidence, attract opportunities and steer things in a lucrative direction.

It is then that both will join the Sun in your relationship sector, with the solar spotlight always on your relationships during the first three weeks of July. Mercury is only here for 15 days but the planet of communication will be here when it counts. It is halfway between Mercury’s visit from 5th July to 20th July and of his mission to get the communication lines open on the relationship front, that a Full Moon in Capricorn on 14th July will put a balance between your personal and relationship needs to the test. Mercury will be on hand to ensure the communication lines are open while Venus, the planet of love will return four days later to exploit the benefits.

However, what will see things take an exciting turn is Mars, the planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos’ return to a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart on 5th July. Until leaving on 20th August, this first visit in two years will see Mars fuel your romantic and creative passions and fighting spirit while also fighting to ensure life doesn’t become all work and no play. This is something that will be especially important over the coming months when Mars returns to begin a rare seven month visit to your work sector next month.

   Aquarius Friday 01 July 2022  Jan 20 - Feb 18
While the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of July in your work sector, the busiest and most industrious area of your chart, life is unlikely to become too busy. This is partly because of the makeup of the planetary activity on the job front this month and partly because with Saturn in his first full month in retrograde motion in Aquarius, you will find it harder to sweat the small stuff or to buy into a rush mentality. It also helps that you have Venus in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart until 18th July, helping to maintain a balance between work and play.

However, this is mainly because of the dynamics on the job front itself and a large part of this comes down to the dwarf planet Ceres. When the Sun returned to your work sector last month Ceres had already been here for over five weeks, with her first deep dive into your needs and priorities on the job front in five years giving you clear priorities from the start. Because Ceres’ focus is more on job satisfaction and a sense of purpose, you are not going to waste your time and energy on anything that doesn’t support that.

In addition, Mercury’s return from 5th July to 20th July will make it easier to work smarter. It is when Mercury leaves on 20th July, the Sun on 23rd July and Ceres on 24th July that they will shift their focus onto your relationships, while Venus will stay on to keep work and job matters moving forward and evolving. Meanwhile, after declaring war on communication barriers until leaving your communication sector on 5th July, Mars will first turn his attention and a drive to make things happen to things done onto work and job matters.

   Pisces Friday 01 July 2022  Feb 19 - Mar 20
It was in the closing days of June that Neptune, your ruling planet turned retrograde in Pisces, something that he has done since returning in 2012. Throughout Neptune’s time in Pisces, the planet of dreams will spend from June to November in retrograde motion, giving you a chance to look back over what has already been invested. As you near what can be the busiest point in any year, this also makes it easier to slow down. After the adrenaline ride that the first five months of 2022 have taken you on, this couldn’t be more timely.

This is supported by a wealth of planetary activity in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart, putting them at a friendly aspect to not only Neptune but to the South Node in an adventurous part. With things taking a busier turn later in the month, this is not only an invitation to slow down but to create a better balance between work and play. The Sun will always spend the first three weeks of July in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart but this year, he returned to find that the dwarf planet Ceres had already spent five weeks updating your heart’s needs and priorities.

Mercury, who will return on 5th July will leave on 20th July, the Sun on 23rd July and the dwarf planet Ceres on 24th July. This will see them return to your busy work sector, but there are safeguards in place to ensure life doesn’t become all work and no play. It is Venus’ return to a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart on 18th July that will help to maintain that balance but without getting in the way of the new doors opening on the job front. While the Sun returns to your work sector at the same time each year, for the first time in 12 years lucky Jupiter is in your income sector, making this potentially a lot more lucrative.
