Money Monthly for Month Commencing: Thursday 01 April 2021

   Aries Thursday 01 April 2021  Mar 21 - Apr 19
While the solar spotlight will always shift onto your income situation, matters and options when the Sun returns to your income sector on 20th April each year, this year you have anything but a cold start. While you have Uranus in your income sector since 2019 and until leaving in 2026 he will keep the wheels turning, he largely plays a background role and doesn’t really become active until a faster planet returns. That means that things shouldn’t become active on the income front until Venus returns on 15th April, followed by Mercury on 19th April and the Sun on 20th April. However, they will return to begin a second rather than the first wave of 2021. The first wave began with Mars’ return on 7th January, with his first visit in nearly two years beginning the process of fighting for what you deserve and as the warrior planet of the cosmos, declaring war on glass ceilings, roadblocks and barriers, whether real or imagined. Normally here for just six weeks, a retrograde turn last year has slowed the warrior planet of the cosmos down and by the time he left last month, he had been in your income sector for eight weeks. Venus’ return on 15th April will see the planet of money return six weeks to the day since Mars left. That has been enough time to let things settle and play out but not enough to let things go off the boil. Normally, when the faster planets return they have a cold start but thanks to Mars they have a stunning start. Knowing that there are more planets approaching and especially that one of those planets is Venus, the planet of money, allowed Mars to focus on getting the ball rolling and not on finishing or completing anything. This could see the planets returning this month reap the harvest that Mars has planted, creating the potential for some lucrative developments in the second half of the month and into May. The Moon’s return to your income sector from 13th April to 15th April will ensure your nose for money is sharp when Venus returns during its final hours. Meanwhile, the Moon’s return to your financial sector on 27th April as a Full Moon could energise both sides of the financial fence.

   Taurus Thursday 01 April 2021  Apr 20 - May 20
There is rarely planetary activity in either of your two money houses at this time of year or at least not from the start. While the Sun and Mercury will return to your income sector in May each year, Venus can return earlier and last year returned on 4th April 2020. However, that was the earlier point she can possibly return and was not her when the month began. Meanwhile, with the Sun and faster planets not returning to your financial sector until the latter months of the year, it is even rarer to have planetary activity there as you move into April, yet this year you have both. On the financial front things are more subtle, with the asteroid Juno, queen of commitment making her first visit to your financial sector in four years while the South Node is here from May 2020 to January 2022. Their job is mainly to keep money matters on track and to work with the North Node in your income sector to maintain a balance between money coming in and money going out. It is on the income front that things are far less subtle, with Mars over halfway into his first visit to your income sector in two years. Until leaving on 23rd April, Mars is urging you to fight for what you deserve as he declares war on glass ceilings, roadblocks or barriers, whether real or imagined. The Moon will make its last visit before Mars leaves from 15th April to 18th April, sharpening your nose for money but also acting as a trigger. Knowing that Mercury will return just 11 days after Mars leaves and Venus, the planet of money just days later and they along with the Sun will continue into May and June what Mars is starting now, allows you to focus more on planting rather than harvesting. Mars can break through the barriers and set things in motion that the other planets can bring home. This means that while Mars will be working to make his final weeks as lucrative as possible, the real advantages might not be felt until next month.

   Gemini Thursday 01 April 2021  May 21 - Jun 21
To begin with, it is business as usual on both sides of the financial fence, which means no planetary activity on the income front and Pluto keeping the wheels turning on the financial front but without a need to reinvent the wheel. Pluto has been on his own in your financial sector since the last of the faster planets left in February, putting him on his own for the first time since 2017. While Saturn ended a three year financial boot camp in December, this was when the Sun began your annual financial review. Here from 2008 to 2024, Pluto is a background player and slowing down ahead of his retrograde turn on 28th April, even as the planet of change and revolution he is working to keep things on a slow and steady course. The Moon’s return to your financial sector from 3rd April to 6th April will be a chance to check in. An alignment with Pluto, in his final weeks in direct motion will give you a better sense of how to play money matters. Meanwhile, with no planetary activity in your income sector and the Sun not returning until June each year, the Moon’s return from 18th April to 20th April should be and is a valuable chance to check in. As well as sharpening your nose for money the Moon can act as a trigger. However, while this is an ordinary monthly visit, what you shouldn’t expect is a sense of anticipation. By this point the Sun is still two months away from beginning what is usually the start of the most lucrative months of 2021. Instead, your over the horizon radar will be telling you a different story, with Mars just days away from that point. It is just three days after the Moon leaves that Mars will return to your income sector on 23rd April, not only starting his own seven week visit but a period of continuous planetary activity that will run through to late July. When the Moon returns to your work sector as a Full Moon on 27th July Mars will be in his early days, while Neptune will be settling things back into place on the career front. This will trigger what could be an exciting end to the month across the income, work and career fronts.

   Cancer Thursday 01 April 2021  Jun 22 - Jul 22
It was Mercury’s departure from your financial sector last month that not only ended the more mundane focus on money matters that happens during the early months of each year but allows Jupiter and Saturn to spend their first full month on their own since returning in December. However, while it might be the first month that these powerful planets are on their own and where the focus is more on the big picture and the journey it is also their last, for now anyway. Saturn and Jupiter returned within days of each other just before Christmas and while Saturn is here now until 2023 and Jupiter will usually stay for 12 months, the planet of luck and expansion is racing ahead. Jupiter is racing so fast and is so far ahead of Saturn that their alignment over Christmas is now a distant memory allowing them to play two very different games. Saturn will spend the next few years helping you to take your financial power back, slowly, deliberately and one small step at a time. There may even be times when it is two steps forward and one step back, all the while strengthening your financial muscles. Jupiter on the other hand is full of exuberance and a sense of what’s possible, with his focus on financial growth and expansion. Jupiter is moving so fast that he will leave next month, travelling all 30 degrees of your financial sector in just five months. A retrograde phase will see Jupiter return in late July to spend another five months here before leaving in the final days of the year. This calls for a twofold approach to money matters, all the while holding onto the smart head for money Mercury’s two month visit has left you with. On the one hand, Saturn needs you to practice financial prudence and fiscal responsibility while Jupiter is asking you to believe in what’s possible and to have goals and ambitions. The Moon’s return to your financial sector from 6th April to 8th April will sharpen your financial instincts while giving you a chance to check in with both. Meanwhile, the Moon’s visit to your income sector from 20th April to 23rd April will sharpen your nose for money and act as a trigger.

   Leo Thursday 01 April 2021  Jul 23 - Aug 22
While the Sun and Venus both left your financial sector last month, held back by a retrograde phase, Mercury was late to return this year and is therefore late to leave. This will see the tail end of the mundane focus on money matters that will always happen in February and March extend into the early days of April, though only until Mercury leaves on 4th April. It was during the Sun’s month long visit that the solar spotlight was on your financial situation and money matters, while Venus’ departure less than 48 hours later left you with your financial wish list updated. It is Mercury’s job to bring the two together, with his smart head for money allowing you to keep your head in the game as you tie up loose ends. With Neptune in your financial sector from 2012 to 2026, things never go completely off the boil but as the planets of dreams and fantasies, his job is to keep you motivated throughout each financial year. When the Sun, Venus and Mercury move through each year, their focus is on the more practical and mundane facets of money matters, making this a time of year for taking care of financial housekeeping and updating your financial game plan and resolutions. It is the latter that Mercury is helping you to work on before leaving on 4th April. The Moon will return for its monthly visit from 8th April to 10th April. As always, this will fuel your financial instincts and imagination and deliver valuable clues, hunches and insights while returning just days after Mercury leaves, this will also be a chance to tie up loose ends. Meanwhile, unlike your financial sector, where the focus is more on what you do with and how you manage the money you have, there is no planetary activity in your income sector. This makes the Moon’s return from 23rd April to 25th May a valuable chance to sharpen your nose for money and to act as a trigger. Auspiciously, the Moon returns just eight days after Venus, the planet of money returns to your career sector on 15th April to fuel your professional confidence, attract opportunities and steer things in a lucrative direction.

   Virgo Thursday 01 April 2021  Aug 23 - Sep 22
The focus will always be on money matters at this time of year, always has and always will be. That is because the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of April in your financial sector, shining the solar spotlight on your financial situation and money matters. While Venus and Mercury will travel close to the Sun, they can return before, after or during his time here and often not at the same time. Last year Venus had been and gone from your financial sector by the time the Sun returned, creating a disconnect between your annual financial review and an update of your financial desires and expectations. She was also long gone before Mercury returned with the smart head for money needed to turn this into a game plan and resolutions. This year the Sun, Mercury and Venus are a much tighter bunch, all here at the same time but you also have the dwarf planet Ceres here as well. Ceres returned in February for the first time in four years in order to spend the next three months updating your financial needs and priorities. Ceres will leave next month but this importantly puts her here as the faster planets move through. The Sun returned to your financial sector on 20th March, Venus less than 48 hours later and Mercury will return on 4th April. As the Sun and Venus spend their first week here aligned, this allows you to begin the month with your eyes open, head out of the sand but with high expectations. With Venus leaving on 15th April, Mercury on 19th April and the Sun on 20th April, this is a short, sharp mission to get money matters out in the open, your financial wish list updated and turned into a game plan and resolutions. All will be here when the Moon not only moves through from 10th April to 12th April but to create a New Moon. This is always a good time for new beginnings or for taking the initiative. Meanwhile, while there is no planetary activity in your income sector, when the Moon moves through from 25th April to 27th April it will be coming full circle from a Full Moon late last month, with the potential for unexpected developments.

   Libra Thursday 01 April 2021  Sep 23 - Oct 23
Just six weeks separate Mars’ departure from your financial sector last month and Venus’ return on 15th April, leaving little if any time for money matters to go off the boil. Instead, after eight weeks in your financial sector and as this was his first visit in nearly two years, Mars has left you with plenty to fight for but also to let play out. Knowing that the faster planets, those that return to your financial sector at the same time each year were just weeks away, allowed Mars to focus more on getting things out in the open and started, leaving you with something to fight for. That something is a chance to take your financial power back. The Sun will always return to your financial sector in April, with Mars’ eight week visit a bonus and an advantage that you never had last year. If it feels like you have been fighting battles on multiple fronts it was because Mars whipped away the veil of complacency or the covers, making it a time to start fighting back. Mars time here is over and what lies ahead is a chance to start bringing all the pieces together and under control. Venus is the first of the faster planets to arrive, with the planet of money returning on 15th April to fuel your financial confidence, update your financial wish list and work to attract positive outcomes. Hot on Venus’ heels is Mercury, whose return on 19th April will give you the smart head for money needed to get your head in the game and to start making smart financial choices, decisions and plans. This will put heart and mind on the same page, replacing Mars’ hot headed enthusiasm with cold headed determination. It is just a day later that the Sun will return on 20th April, turning the solar spotlight onto your financial situation and money matters as he always does at this time each year. Meanwhile, The Moon will not only return to your income sector on 27th April but as a Full Moon. With no planetary activity on the income side of the financial fence, this could act as a catalyst and that includes for income and job matters.

   Scorpio Thursday 01 April 2021  Oct 24 - Nov 21
Starting the month with Mars in your financial sector will get your attention from the get go but there isn’t the urgency you would normally expect during his final weeks here. From Mars’ departure on 23rd April to Mercury’s return early next month is a space of just 11 days, making the warrior planet’s final weeks here more about getting the battle started. When Mars returned last month it had been nearly two years since he was last in your financial sector, returning to declare war on roadblocks or barriers, whether real or imagined. Mars gives you the confidence to fight for what you deserve and especially when it comes to taking your financial power back. Mars is not alone in your financial sector, with the North Node here since May 2020 and not leaving until January 2022, providing a sense of financial direction and a path forward. It was Mars’ alignment with the North Node in the closing days of March that allows you to begin the month with a better sense of where to channel Mars’ warrior spirit. While Mars, like any planet moving through your financial sector this year has had to deal with having the South Node in your income sector and the balancing act required, this is helping to maintain a balance between money coming in and money going out. You also have the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment in your income sector since late last year, helping you to stick to the financial resolutions you began the year with. While both Juno and the South Node have had to fight off competition from Mars on the other side of the financial fence, they have plenty of support from the Sun, Venus and Mercury in your work sector. This is something that as the planet of money Venus will be drawing on, for until leaving your work sector on 15th April she is on a mission to fuel your job confidence, attract opportunities and steer things in a lucrative direction. The Moon will move through your income sector from 1st April to 3rd April and then returning on 29th April, allowing you to begin and end the month with a sharp nose for money and a lucrative sense of direction.

   Sagittarius Thursday 01 April 2021  Nov 22 - Dec 21
What you see at the start of the month is not what you can expect from the rest of the month, with the dynamics of this financial year and business as usual about to change. Until now, business as usual not only means that all the planetary activity and therefore all your focus has been on the income side of the financial fence but in a way that has become increasingly settled. While Saturn wrapped up a three year visit to your income sector just before Christmas and Jupiter a 12 month visit just days later, the last of the faster planets didn’t leave until February. With Pluto in your income sector from 2008 to 2024 things will never go off the boil but this is just his second full month on his own since 2017. Slowing down ahead of a retrograde turn on 28th April, Pluto is the only planet in either of your two money houses and he is not only settled and stable but is about to go into his annual review phase. You can be forgiven then for thinking that it is not only business as usual this month but is about as low key as it gets. The Moon’s return to your income sector from 3rd April to 6th April will sharpen your nose for money and act as a trigger but will also give you an intuitive read on Pluto and the brakes that he is putting on things. The first signs of change will come when the Moon moves through your financial sector from 18th April to 20th April. Apart from fuelling your financial instincts and imagination, this is when your over the horizon radar will pick up on the approach of new planetary activity on the financial front, a month before that is usually even a thing. It is just three days after the Moon leaves that Mars, the planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos will return to your financial sector for the first time in two years. This is the first planetary activity on this side of the financial fence since Venus left in September and Mars has returned to not only fuel your financial passions and fighting spirit but to help you take your financial power back.

   Capricorn Thursday 01 April 2021  Dec 22 - Jan 19
While all the action is on the income side of the financial fence this month it is as if there are two different games in play but with both also very different from recent months. It was just before Christmas that Saturn returned to your income sector for the first time in three decades, followed by Jupiter just days later, with the planet of luck and expansion returning for the first time in 12 years. Both had barely settled in when Mercury returned in the New Year, for what should have been a two week visit. Mercury was followed by the Sun and Venus, with Jupiter and Saturn’s big picture focus put on the back burner as the more mundane focus on income matters, which takes place at that time every year, took precedence. With Saturn here until 2023 and Jupiter spending the first and last five months of 2021 in your income sector they didn’t mind standing back, as this gave the faster planets a chance to first focus on the basics. While the Sun and Venus moved through, a retrograde phase kept Mercury here, giving you access to his smart head for money for much longer than would normally be the case. Mercury finally left last month, making this Jupiter and Saturn’s first full month on their own in your income sector. However, it is also their last, at least until now. This is where the concept of two different games comes in. Saturn, who is in your income sector until 2023 is in no hurry and as a planet that is all about measuring twice and cutting once, he is happy to put down foundations and take a slow and steady approach to building for the future. Meanwhile, Jupiter is racing ahead and so much so that he will leave next month, though will retrograde back in late July. It will normally take Jupiter 12 months to travel the ground he is taking just five months to cross this time, racing ahead and scouting out the potential that Saturn can quietly work on. This means that on the one hand there is a need to chase opportunities, but on the other hand, there is also a chance to slowly work on things behind the scenes.

   Aquarius Thursday 01 April 2021  Jan 20 - Feb 18
Held back by a retrograde phase in February, Mercury was late to return to your income sector this year and is therefore late to leave, something that you will get to benefit from this month. The Sun left your income sector on 20th March and Venus, the planet of money less than 48 hours later, but not before leaving you with options exposed, the laws of attraction in effect and plenty of options on the table. Until he leaves on 4th April, Mercury is giving you the smart head for money needed to keep your head in the game, think on your feet and to tie up loose ends. Unlike other areas of your chart, your income sector is never empty or at least it won’t be until Neptune leaves in 2026. Neptune returned in 2012 and as the planet of dreams, his job is to help you stay motivated and on track while the faster planets, who will typically return in February and March each year, are focused on the more mundane aspects. It is this phase that Mercury will wrap up on 4th April and tying up loose ends means getting them to a point where Neptune can keep the wheels turning. The more you can keep your head in the game and make choices, decisions and plans in the early days of the month the better. The Moon will return from 8th April to 10th April and just days after Mercury’s departure, this will be a valuable chance to regroup. The Moon will always sharpen your nose for money and act as a trigger as it moves through and as the first visit since the Sun, Venus and Mercury left, this could bring some unexpected developments or opportunities on the income front. Meanwhile, with no planetary activity on the other side of the financial fence, the Moon’s return to your financial sector from 23rd April to 25th April will be a valuable chance to check in. As well as fuelling your financial instincts and imagination, the Moon will deliver valuable clues, hunches and insights and give you a better read on money matters.

   Pisces Thursday 01 April 2021  Feb 19 - Mar 20
The focus is always going to be on income matters at this time of year, with the Sun always spending the first three weeks of April in your income sector. This is when the solar spotlight is on your income situation, matters and options and will be until the Sun leaves on 20th April. While the Sun returns for his month long visit at the same time each year and Venus and Mercury will return at around the same time, they are not necessarily all here at the same time. Last year, Venus had been and gone by the time the Sun returned and Mercury only returned towards the latter part of his month long visit. While they still contributed what they will each year, it was in a more scattered way. That is not the case this year, with a more concentrated and compact focus on income matters than could make the first three weeks of the month especially lucrative. Mars only wrapped up a nearly seven month visit to your income sector in the New Year so the Sun, Venus and Mercury aren’t going to string this out, getting in and out, doing what they can in the shortest amount of time. The Sun returned to your income sector on 20th March and Venus less than 48 hours later and having spent a week aligned, they are just starting to separate as we move into the new month. They will be joined by Mercury on 4th April, giving you the smart head for money needed to get your head in the game and to think on your feet. All three will be here when the Moon not only returns to your income sector from 10th April to 12th April but to create a New Moon. With Venus leaving on 15th April, Mercury on 19th April and the Sun on 20th April, this is a New Moon that helps to capture a moment when every available resource is at hand. Meanwhile, with no planetary activity on the other side of the financial fence, the Moon’s return to your financial sector from 25th April to 27th April will be a valuable chance to check in on money matters. Especially as the Moon will be coming full circle from a Full Moon here in the final days of March.
