Money Monthly for Month Commencing: Thursday 01 May 2025

   Aries Thursday 01 May 2025  Mar 21 - Apr 19
Because the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of May in your income sector, the solar spotlight is always on your income situation, matters and options at this time of year. Yet this year is going to feel different, for while the Sun returns at the same time each year, you have already moved into the three month period that everything until now has led up to and everything from now will lead on from. In one sense, it goes back as far as Uranus’ return in 2019, with the planet of surprise, synchronicity and the unexpected charged with keeping things on track until then. What makes this year different is that Uranus is leaving in July.

Uranus will retrograde back in later in the year to tie up loose ends and to ensure no stone has been left unturned, before leaving again early next year, not to return for another eight decades. On the other hand, the more immediate lead up began when a total lunar eclipse in your work sector in March peaked just as the Moon was at a positive trine aspect to Uranus. Ever since Uranus and the South Node, the force behind the eclipsing Full Moon on the job front, have been drawing closer and late last month came together, with a friendly aspect that doesn’t peak until 2nd May and will hold tight through the first two weeks of the month.

By the time Mercury returns to your income sector from 11th May to 26th May with the smart head for money needed to get your head in the game and to think on your feet, this will be well established. Moving through from 25th May to 27th May, the Moon will be here when Mercury returns, but with Venus, the planet of money not returning until early next month to begin what could be the most lucrative weeks of the year. Meanwhile, the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment has retrograded back into your financial sector with a chance to revisit your financial resolutions. A visit by the Moon from 11th May to 13th May that will culminate with a Full Moon will help with that.

   Taurus Thursday 01 May 2025  Apr 20 - May 20
In May 2024 Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion returned to your income sector to begin what he has been working to make your biggest year for income growth and expansion in over a decade and now, he is getting ready to leave. However, even though the planets that return each year will stay on after Jupiter leaves on 10th June, this is not what he helping to build a platform or what will make this the first step in something even bigger. Usually Jupiter is as big as it gets and not returning again until 2037, this is usually a long time between drinks. Instead, a month after Jupiter leaves Uranus, the planet of surprise, synchronicity and the unexpected will be settling into his first visit to your income sector in eight decades.

While they won’t ever be here at the same time, where the planet of luck and expansion leaves off, Uranus will lead on from, with the Sun and the faster planets keeping the thread going until then. The Moon will spend time in your income sector twice this month, each of them significant in their own right. While the Moon will leave your income sector on 1st May, this will be a chance to start the month with your nose for money sharp from the start. This won’t be the Moon’s last visit before Jupiter leaves, but with the Sun returning on 21st May and Mercury on 26th May, it will be the last while he is on his own and while it is just about his quest for income growth and expansion.

When the Sun returns this will put the solar spotlight on your income situation, matters and options, while Mercury will return with the smart head for money that can help you focus on the details, down to the when, where and how. The Moon will not only return from 27th May to 29th May, but as a New Moon and by then, with Jupiter in his final weeks. This will be the catalyst that could make Jupiter’s final weeks some of the most potentially lucrative. Meanwhile, on the other side of the sky, your financial sector has been empty since the asteroid Juno retrograded back out and apart from the Moon’s monthly visits it will remain empty until later in the year. This makes the Moon’s return from 13th May to 16th May a valuable chance to check in on your financial situation and money matters.

   Gemini Thursday 01 May 2025  May 21 - Jun 21
On both sides of the financial fence this is a quiet month, with the only activity on either side of the financial fence being when the Moon returns for its monthly visit to each. However, on one side of the financial fence there is a lot of history, while on the other side of the financial fence there is not only a lot of history, but a big future that is just around the corner. In terms of history, it is in your financial sector and the side of the financial fence that it is more about what you do with and how you manage the money you have, which has the longest reach. It was only in November that here since 2008 Pluto, the planet of change and transformation left.

The last planet to move through your financial sector was Mercury and when he left at the end of January, this ended all planetary activity on this side of the financial fence until later in the year. It is on the income side of the financial fence that there is more recent history, but also a massive future ahead. There is rarely any planetary activity on the income side of the financial fence until you draw closer to the Sun’s return on the June solstice each year. Even Mars, who returned in September 2024 for what should have been a six week visit did eventfully leave last November, how a retrograde turn brought him back in the New Year to spend another three and a half months here.

Mars did leave last month, with just enough time to pull back before Jupiter returns on 10th June to begin your biggest year for income growth and expansion in over a decade. The Moon will return for its first visit since Mars left from 1st May to 3rd May and for its last before Jupiter returns on 16th May to 18th May. This gives you a chance to first tie up the loose ends of one chapter before then returning again to prepare for the next, while as it moves through, the Moon will be sharpening your nose for money and acting as a trigger. Halfway between these two visits, the Moon will return to your financial sector to give you a chance to check in on your financial situation and money matters from 16th May to 18th May.

   Cancer Thursday 01 May 2025  Jun 22 - Jul 22
While things got a little bumpy towards the end of last month, they have not only eased back, but on both sides of the financial fence this will have left you more aware and empowered as the whole dynamics of this financial year are once again set to change. It was in the final months of 2024 that Mars and Pluto, the planets of war and revolution danced around and teased each other. After seven months in your financial sector Pluto had retrograded back on 2nd September, which meant that when Mars returned to your income sector on 4th November, just over two months later, the coast was clear and he was able to shift all the focus onto the income side of the financial fence.

Except just over two weeks later Pluto not only returned, but the planet of change, transformation and rebellion is here now until 2044. Had Mars simply moved on they would never have clashed, but instead, he retrograded back out and spent the early days of the year clashed, for the first time here in our lifetime. Since then, Pluto has been able to keep all the focus on his side of the financial fence, the side where it is more about what you do with and how you manage the money you have. Until that is, Mars returned last month and for the second time this year, the planets of war and revolution clashed. This was over the last weekend of April and is they are already separating.

Because Pluto has come to a standstill ahead of a retrograde turn on 5th May, he has come to a standstill while Mars has his foot on the gas. Apart from the clash late last month and a chance to thrash out the boundary lines between money coming in and money going out, this is a chance for Pluto to take money matters into review mode, while Mars is free to move things forward on the income front, though with the two keeping an eye on each other. What is going to increase the potential for May being one of the most lucrative months of 2025 is Venus, the planet of money’s return to your career sector on 1st May for her own do over. That will be especially so when the Moon moves through from 3rd May to 6th May and again when it returns on 31st May.

   Leo Thursday 01 May 2025  Jul 23 - Aug 22
On both sides of the financial fence, there is reason to move into the new month with confidence, helped in part by two separate alliances that are each supporting one side of the financial fence. A friendly aspect between the South Node in your income sector and Uranus in your career sector that began late last month won’t peak until 2nd May and they will remain tight for the first two weeks of the month. While there is no planetary activity in your income sector, with Mars returning next month and things already starting to heat up professionally, things are already starting to come together in preparation.

The Moon will return to your income sector from 6th May to 8th May, something that every four weeks can sharpen your nose for money and act as a trigger. With the alliance between Uranus on the career and the South Node on the income front still locked into place at the time, these will be pivotal days on both fronts. Meanwhile, the month also begins with a friendly aspect between Saturn in your financial sector and the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment just starting to separate. With Venus, the planet of money leaving on 1st May, they have come together with the resolve and commitment to turn financial desires into resolutions.

This is also the beginning of the end, for now of planetary activity on this side of the financial fence. After 13 years Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams left at the end of March, the dwarf planet Ceres will end her last deep dive into your financial needs and priorities on 17th May and here since March 2023, Saturn will leave on 25th May. The Moon’s return from 21st March to 23rd May will ensure your financial instincts are sharp and you are emotionally and intuitively engaged during Saturn’s final days. Once Saturn leaves, until he and Neptune return to tie up some loose ends later in the year, this will leave your financial sector empty for the first time since 2010, giving Mars a clear run when he returns to your income sector next month.

   Virgo Thursday 01 May 2025  Aug 23 - Sep 22
By the time the Sun leaves your financial sector towards the end of April each year, Venus and Mercury have usually left or are about to leave, either way bringing what can be the most active months of any year on this side of the financial fence for the year to a close. With the dwarf planet Eris, the warrior princess of the cosmos here for over nine decades, things never really go completely off the boil, but when it comes to the side of the financial fence where it is more about what you do with and how you manage the money you have, this is when things level off and it becomes more about staying on track.

That is what normally happens, but not this year and not for a long time to come. Everything changed when, at the end of March Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams returned for the first time in 150 years. Neptune will retrograde back out for a few months later in the year, only to return in January 2026 to spend the next 13 years here. Venus and Mercury had both left your financial sector by the time Neptune returned, but as they had retrograded back out, it meant that once back in direct motion, they would return for a do over, this time becoming the first planets to align with Neptune here in 150 years.

Mercury did it when he returned last month and until leaving again on 11th May, will continue to give you the smart head for money needed to keep your head in the game and to think on your feet. It is when Venus returns on 1st May that the real magic will happen, for she will spend her first weekend and the first weekend of May aligned with Neptune, bringing the planets of money and dreams together here for the first time in our lifetime. However, the game changer is Saturn’s return on 25th May, with his first visit in three decades able to give you the discipline and resolve to do whatever it takes for as long as it takes in order to turn financial dreams into reality. The Moon’s return from 23rd May to 25th May will ensure your financial instincts are sharp when Saturn returns, while its return to your income sector from 8th May to 11th May could act as a trigger for income potential.

   Libra Thursday 01 May 2025  Sep 23 - Oct 23
On both sides of the financial fence, while there could be some competition when it comes to your attention between money coming in and money going out, they each have such different agendas that they aren’t swimming in the same pond, so are unlikely to get in each other’s way. At the same time, both sides are so well supported that if there were times when there was a bit of financial tension, it would easily be turned into motivation. Because the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of May in your financial sector, the solar spotlight is always on your financial situation and money matters at this time of year.

With Uranus, here since 2019 not only leaving in July but spending the first two weeks of the month at a friendly aspect to the South Node in intuitive and imaginative part of your chart, this will be sparking your imagination while bringing you to a point where you are ready to take your financial power back. Helping with that will be Mercury’s return from 11th May to 26th May, with the smart head for money needed to keep your head in the game and your feet on the ground. With the Moon here from 25th May to 27th May, this will ensure your nose for money is sharp during Mercury’s final hours, while merging with his smart head for money.

Meanwhile, two months after leaving your income sector the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment not only retrograded back in to spend another six months here last month, but begins the month aligned with Saturn, as he gets ready to leave your work sector on 25th May. This will end all planetary activity on the job front until he and Neptune return later in the year to tie up loose ends, but with Juno back in your income sector for the next six months, her resolve to keep income potential on track will also help to keep work and job matters on track. The Moon was in your income sector when Juno returned last month but will return from 11th May to 13th May to once again act as a trigger.

   Scorpio Thursday 01 May 2025  Oct 24 - Nov 21
The Moon will spend time in your financial sector twice this month, the side of the financial fence where it is more about what you do with and how you manage the money you have, and each will be important in its own right. The Moon will begin the month in your financial sector, with a chance to ensure your financial instincts are sharp and you are emotionally and intuitively engaged and aware from the start. This won’t be the Moon’s last visit before Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion leaves, but it will be its last before the Sun returns on 21st May and while he is still on his own.

While not leaving until 10th June, this brings you to the home straight of Jupiter’s 13 month quest for financial growth and expansion and at this stage, with a chance to focus more on the big picture rather than the details. This is about having a sense of what’s possible and especially when it comes to taking your financial power back. It is when Mercury returns on 26th May with the smart head for money needed to get your head in the game and to think on your feet that you can start to focus more on the when, where and how. With Jupiter leaving on 10th June, this is when it will be time to start bringing things home. Helping with that will be the Moon’s return from 27th May to 29th May.

Unlike when you began the month with the Moon here, this isn’t about passively observing and instead, a New Moon on 27th May will be the time to push the ‘go’ button on any financial plans, moves or steps to take your financial power back. While Jupiter will leave next month, his influence will not only live on, but a parade of planets is going to keep the momentum going. Meanwhile, with no planetary activity on the other side of the financial fence since the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment retrograded back out last month, the Moon’s monthly visit to your income sector from 13th May to 16th May will be a valuable chance to check in. As the Moon moves through, it can sharpen your nose for money and act as a trigger.

   Sagittarius Thursday 01 May 2025  Nov 22 - Dec 21
May is the only month this year when there is no planetary activity in either of your two money houses, giving you a chance to step back before things start to fire up again. This is a chance for a firebreak between some already active months and even bigger developments ahead. While there is no more planetary activity in your income sector and there won’t be until later in the year, as 16 years of near continuous planetary activity on the income side of the financial fence only ran its course at the end of January, you no longer need the money gods holding your hand. During what is a significant month on the job and career fronts, an entrenched lucrative sense of direction will ensure that where this goes, the money will follow.

It is on the other side of the financial fence that there is a chance to pause after Mars, the planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos not only left last month but ended his longest visit in two decades. Having first returned in early September for what is normally a six week chance to fire up your financial passions and fighting spirit in order to take your financial power back, Mars was here for two months before leaving, only to retrograde back in to spend another three and a half months here in January. This is the side of the financial fence where it is more about what you do with and how you manage the money you have and Mars has left you hungry and ready to take your financial power back.

You will have that chance when on 10th June Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion will return to your financial sector to begin your biggest year for financial growth and expansion in over a decade. The Moon’s visit to your financial sector from 1st May to 3rd May will be the first since Mars left, giving you a chance to tie up loose ends. When the Moon returns again from 29th May to 31st May, it will be more about preparing for Jupiter’s return, while each time sharpening your financial instincts. Meanwhile, the Sun will still be here when the Moon moves through your income sector from 16th May to 18th May, with a chance to sharpen your nose for money and act as a trigger across the income, work and career fronts.

   Capricorn Thursday 01 May 2025  Dec 22 - Jan 19
The dynamics of the financial year itself are changing and May is the pivot point where things turn. Like all change, there could be a little bit of pressure or tension, but for the most part, if this was going to create any financial tension, it will already be starting to dial back as you move into the new month. So far, this financial year has been geared towards the income side of the financial fence where in the first full year of a 20 year visit to your income sector Pluto, the planet of change, transformation and rebellion has lorded over everything. With no planetary activity on the other side of the financial fence in your financial sector, the income side has been able to gain all your attention.

That wasn’t the case in the early days of the year, with Mars spending his final days in your financial sector before retrograding back out in the New Year clashed with Pluto. As that ended all planetary activity on that side of the financial fence, that ended any competition until once back in direct motion Mars, the planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos returned last month and he is ready to make up for lost time. It was over the last weekend of April that the planets of war and revolution clashed, each demanding that you focus on their side of the financial fence, Pluto on money coming in and Mars on what you do with and how you manage the money you have.

However, this was also the point where the dynamics of this financial year started to shift. On 5th May Pluto will turn retrograde and already at a standstill, the income side of the financial fence is preparing to pull back while Mars has his foot on the gas and the side of the financial fence where it is more about what you do with and how you manage the money you have is taking off. Mars will spend the whole of May and the first three weeks of June firing up your financial passions and fighting spirit, while preparing the way for a host of planets that will move through in the second half of the year. The Moon’s return to your financial sector from 3rd May to 6th May will give you an early feel for Mars’ influence, just as Pluto is turning retrograde on 5th May. Two weeks later, the Moon’s return to your income sector from 18th May to 20th May could act as a trigger for untapped income potential.

   Aquarius Thursday 01 May 2025  Jan 20 - Feb 18
This month the unthinkable is happening, in that for the first time since 2010, the month will end with no planetary activity in your income sector, though with a lot of water to pass under the bridge before then. While the Sun left your income sector in March and this is the point in each year when the solar spotlight will always shift off your income situation, matters and options, Venus and Mercury were both reluctant to leave. Both had left in February, but at the end of March not only retrograded back in for a do over, but in Mercury’s case during Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams' final days and Venus’ case, his final hours.

Within days both were back in direct motion and while Mercury left again last month, Venus will leave on 1st May, wrapping up a second chance to update your income expectations and steer things in a lucrative direction and the timing couldn’t be better. Venus will not only leave behind Saturn and the dwarf planet Ceres, but with support from the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment in your career sector. Until she leaves on 17th May, Ceres is looking beyond the money as she wraps up her last deep dive into income needs and priorities for another four years. This will leave Saturn on his own and as he has done since returning in March 2023, until leaving on 25th May he will continue to give you the resolve to do whatever it takes for as long as it takes.

The Moon will make a well timed visit from 21st May to 23rd May, something that can sharpen your nose for money and act as a trigger during Saturn’s final days. Until Saturn and Neptune return later in the year to spend a few months tying up loose ends, this will leave your income sector empty for the first time since 2010. However, while this will leave you with no planetary activity in either of your two money houses, the lunar nodes will continue their policing of a balance between money coming in and money going out. Helping with that will be the Moon’s return to your financial sector from 6th May to 8th May, something that can sharpen your financial instincts and give you a better read on your financial situation and money matters.

   Pisces Thursday 01 May 2025  Feb 19 - Mar 20
When the Sun left your income sector last month, this brought you to the point in each year when the solar spotlight shifts off your income situation, matters and options, and this is usually the point when the most active months of any year on the income front start to level off. While Venus and Mercury might stay on, usually it will only be for a few days and with things already levelling off by the time you move into May. Because the dwarf planet Eris, the warrior princess of the cosmos has been in your income sector for over nine decades, things will never go completely off the boil and you will always have a little bit of fight in you.

However, that is not the case this year, and instead of levelling off, things are going above and beyond what is normal for this time of year, with the money gods still just warming up. When they returned to your income sector in February, Venus and Mercury were both reluctant to leave and while they eventually did, not before spending twice as long as they normally would and by retrograding back out at the end of March rather than moving on. Back in direct motion, Mercury returned last month and until leaving on 11th March is giving you the smart head for money needed to keep your head in the game and to think on your feet. Venus, the planet of money won’t return for her do over until 1st May and not leaving until 6th June, she is just one reason why May could be one of the most lucrative months of the year.

Like Mercury last month, Venus will return to find that while she’s been gone Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams has returned to your income sector. Venus will spend her first weekend back in your income sector and the first weekend of May aligned with Neptune, bringing the planets of money and dreams together here for the first time in 150 years. With Mars back in your work sector, these are game changing times on the income and job fronts, but the money gods aren’t finished yet, with the dwarf planet Ceres returning for her first deep dive into your income needs and priorities in four years on 17th May and Saturn will return for his first visit in three decades on 25th May, returning with the resolve to do whatever it takes for as long as it takes in order to turn Neptune’s dreams into reality.
