Because the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of September in your work sector, the solar spotlight is always on your work situation, job matters and options at this time of year, though in a way that is more compact and with some unexpected support from planets on the income and career fronts. Because Venus has already moved through your work sector, Mercury will leave on 11th September and the Sun on 23rd September, but with Mars not returning until November, this is a short, sharp few weeks that can get work and job matters up to speed. However, this might be a small window, but it is going to pack a punch across the income, work and career fronts. When the Sun and Mercury returned last month, they both spent their early days at a friendly aspect to Chiron, the planet of wisdom, knowledge and healing in your income sector, who popped in just before Mars was about to leave and end all planetary activity on the income front at the end of June. Chiron will retrograde back out on 18th September, but is here to support the Sun and Mercury, while helping you both learn from the past and access any still untapped income potential. At the same time, having left at the end of March, something that ended all planetary activity on the career front, the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment retrograded back in last month for a do over. While Juno will turn direct on 17th September and then leave again next month, she is here now and both the Sun and Mercury will form a friendly aspect before they leave your work sector. When the Moon moves through your work sector from 10th September to 12th September as a New Moon, it will be able to act as a trigger for things ripe with potential across the income, work and career fronts. While when the Moon returns to your career sector from 19th September to 22nd September Chiron will be gone from your income sector, it will be in time to ensure your professional instincts are sharp going into the Sun’s final days in your work sector.

At the same time that Pluto, the planet of change and transformation is both spending his first and last full month on his own in your career sector and with the North Node having just spent its first full month here, things are settled and stable, this is acting as a foundation for the changes taking place on the job front. With Juno, the queen of commitment who retrograded back out of your career sector last month turning direct on 17th September and starting her journey to returning again next month and then not leaving until January, as Pluto slows ahead of his own direct turn next month, he is the anchor holding everything together. Meanwhile, while things are solid, stable and barely moving on the career front, things are a lot more fluid on the job front. Until leaving on 10th September, Venus is working to give your heart a voice while as the planet of money, desire and attraction, will be working to attract both job potential and the money. Knowing that a retrograde turn will bring her back for a do over next month that will keep her here until December, Venus will also be planting seeds that she can continue to. It is less than 12 hours after Venus leaves that on 11th September, Mercury will return with everything needed to work smarter, get your head in the game, think on your feet and the communication lines open. This will shift things from a heart to a head led approach to work and job matters, while the Sun’s return on 23rd September is something that on the September equinox each year, will always see the solar spotlight shift onto your work situation, job matters and options. At the same time, as was the case when Venus returned last month, both the Sun and Mercury will spend their early days at a friendly aspect to Uranus in your income sector and Pluto in your career sector. Some of the most pivotal days of the month across the income, work and career fronts will be when the Moon returns to your work sector from 12th September to 14th September and to your career sector from 22nd September to 24th September. The latter will be in time to ensure your professional instincts are sharp as the Sun returns to your work sector on 23rd September.

While you begin the month with no planets in either of your two professional houses and with the Sun not returning to your work sector until later next week, not expecting anything to change, that is exactly what it is about to do. While there have been no planets in either of your two professional houses since the last of the faster planets left in April, not only after decades of near continuous planetary activity, but the North Node stayed on to provide a sense of direction. It wasn’t until the North Node left at the end of July that you were left on your own. However, an eclipsing Full Moon at the end of August was a throwback from the North Node’s time here, giving things a much needed shot in the arm. It is on the job front that there are exciting developments this month, with Venus returning on 10th September for what should be a 24 day chance to give your heart a voice and as the planet of money, desire and attraction, work to fuel your job confidence, attract opportunities and steer things in a lucrative direction. Instead, a retrograde turn early next month will not only keep her here for over six weeks, but after retrograding back out will return six weeks later to end 2026 and begin 2027 here. Knowing that on 1st October Mercury will return for what is normally a 14 to 15 day chance to work smarter, get your head in the game, think on your feet and the communication lines open, but instead won’t leave until December, makes Venus’ return the start of something exceptional. As well as aligning with Venus as the Moon moves through your work sector from 14th September to 16th September, it will also form a friendly aspect to Mars and the dwarf planet Ceres in your income sector, bringing them into the loop. The Moon will do the same when it returns to your career sector from 24th September to 26th September, except this time forming a friendly aspect to Venus as well, bringing things together on the income, work and career fronts.

For the planets in your career sector, it is business as usual, in that all three that are here at the start of the month are in retrograde motion and are here for the long haul. This is creating a strong and solid base, even though there is not a lot of change. However, what gets the new month off to such an exciting and even game changing start is the company that at least one of the planets in your career sector is keeping. The month begins with an alignment between Saturn in your career sector and Jupiter in your income sector that began last month and will peak on 1st September. With the Moon starting the month here but leaving on 1st September, just as this peaks, this will ensure your professional instincts are sharp from the start, but you also have your finger on the pulse and ear to the ground as a partnership between Saturn and Jupiter forms that will have an impact over the next 12 months. While it has been 12 years since the two most powerful planets in the solar system last formed this aspect anywhere in your chart, let alone here, this is the first of three times they will come together between now and July 2027. Meanwhile, while there are no planets in your work sector, the Moon’s return from 17th September to 19th September and the connections it will make as it moves through was always going to make these some of the most positive days of the month on the income, work and career fronts. On its own, this can give you a better read on work and job matters, but the Moon will also form a friendly aspect to Jupiter in your income sector and all three planets in your career sector as it moves through. It is while the Moon is here that, after seven years Chiron, the planet of wisdom, knowledge and healing left in June, he will retrograde back into your career sector on 18th September.

While on both the job and career fronts it is mainly business as usual this month, with the Sun and Mercury in your income sector, they will be working with the planets in your two professional houses to make this a positive month on the income, work and career fronts. Since returning last month, the Sun and Mercury have both already formed a friendly aspect to the asteroid Chiron, the planet of wisdom, knowledge and healing in your career sector, while forming another to Juno, the queen of commitment in your work sector before leaving. While both are minor players and both start the month in retrograde motion, Chiron and Juno are playing an important role. Having returned for the first time in five decades just before Mars left in June and with Uranus having ended his seven year transit through your career sector in April, until retrograding back out on 18th September, Chiron is helping you learn from and process the journey this has taken you on. At the same time Juno, who began the year in your work sector and stayed on as the faster planets moved through before leaving herself in March, has retrograded back in with a chance to revisit your intentions and resolutions on the job front. Turning direct on 17th September, the day before Chiron leaves and in the Sun’s final days in your income sector before leaving on 23rd September and then leaving again next week, Juno is back in time to work with both. Across the income, work and career fronts things have settled down, with the big changes of recent months behind you, while leaving you with a core of forces on the professional front that you can rely on. It was only last month that Mars and the dwarf planet Ceres, the last of the faster planets to move through your career sector this year left, leaving Uranus, the planet that is here for the long haul and until leaving in 2033 will act as a guide to keep this professional year on track on his own. Uranus isn’t just on his own, but he has the brakes on ahead of a retrograde turn on 11th September that will see him spend the rest of the year going back over old ground. Apart from the Moon’s return to your career sector every four weeks, there will be no more changes on the job front this year, but with Uranus quietly keeping things on track, while having access to the past, second chances and untapped job potential. Long after things should have dialled back on the career front, Mars’ return last month means that they have not only roared back to life, but in time to capitalise on an unexpected turn of events on the income front. It was in June that having returned in May 2025, Jupiter left your career sector, by which point the planets that return each year were arriving. By the time Jupiter left, Mercury had already been here for four weeks, the Sun had returned and Venus had moved through, keeping the momentum going. Normally only here for 14 to 15 days but held back by a retrograde phase, when Mercury finally left last month, this should have ended all planetary activity on the career front. With no planets in your work sector since April and the North Node having left there at the end of July, this is the point when things should have not so much gone flat, but at least levelled off. Instead, it was just as Mercury left that Mars returned, with the planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos getting his first chance in two years to fire up your professional passions, fighting and competitive spirit. It has been two years since Mars was last here and not leaving until 28th September and having got a further boost from the eclipsing Full Moon in your work sector at the end of August, he has another four weeks to inject as much energy into this professional year as he can. Yet even this won’t end the planetary activity on the career front, for two days after Mars returned last month, the dwarf planet Ceres returned for her first deep dive into your professional needs and priorities in four years and she’s not leaving until May 2027. These are some of the most powerful planets in the solar system and they are locked in place, but what gets the month off to an extraordinary and unprecedented start is a friendly aspect between Saturn in your work sector and Jupiter in your career sector that began late last month and will peak on 1st September. While for now this is the ordinary update that happens at this time each year and once the Sun leaves on 23rd September, this will end all planetary activity on the career front, not only is there another chapter later in the year, but with enough support to make this a good month on the income, work and career fronts. While you begin the month with the Sun and Mercury in your career sector, by the time they returned, Venus had already moved through. Venus’ early return and the fact that she was here on her own allowed her to give your heart a voice and to focus on the ‘what’, knowing that the Sun and Mercury could take care of the when, where and how when they return. While the Sun is here until 23rd September, Mercury will leave on 11th September, but with a chance to draw on his smart, practical and intellectually savvy influence until then, keeping your head in the game and your feet on the ground. Mercury will be here when the Moon moves through your work sector from 1st September to 3rd September and it is when it is moving through your career sector from 10th September to 12th September that he will leave. A New Moon on 11th September, the same day that Mercury leaves, will make this a day for drawing a line in the sand. It appears to be that not only are job and career matters working as a tag team, but at the centre of this are two planets, one that works through the laws of synchronicity and the other that works through the laws of attraction. This partnership began back in April when Venus, the planet of money, desire and attraction returned to your work sector to begin a short 24 day mission to fuel your job confidence, attract opportunities and steer things in a lucrative direction. It was two days later that Uranus, the planet of surprise, synchronicity and the unexpected returned to spend the next seven years here. Venus has long since moved on and since then a parade of planets has moved through, creating the most active and the busiest months of the year on the job front. It wasn’t until Mars left last month that there was finally a chance to take your foot off the gas and as he settles into his first full month on his own, Uranus is slowing down and on 11th September will turn retrograde. This is going to park work and job matters while offering a chance to go back over old ground, while letting what is now building on the career front take the lead. This is where Venus once again comes in, with her early return to your career sector last month putting her back in lockstep with Uranus in your work sector. Venus will leave on 10th September, but not only will Mercury return on 11th September and the Sun on 23rd September to keep the momentum going, but a retrograde turn will see her return next month for a do over, this time not leaving until December. This is going to make the Moon’s return to your work sector from 3rd September to 6th September and to your career sector from 12th September to 14th September some of the most pivotal days of the month across the income, work and career fronts.

When over two months after returning for what is normally a 14 to 15 day transit through your work sector, Mercury finally left last month, this shouldn’t have brought all planetary activity on the job front for the year to a close but instead, things were just warming up. Mercury’s early return and the retrograde turn that kept him here and your head in the game for so long meant that he was here during the final four weeks of Jupiter’s 12 month quest for job growth and expansion. This also kept Mercury here as the Sun and Venus moved through, keeping things continuously active since Jupiter first returned in May 2025. Instead of dialling back, it was just as Mercury was leaving that Mars, the planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos returned, kicking off what he will be making some of the busiest seven weeks of the year. Not leaving until 28th September and already spurred on by an eclipsing Full Moon in your income sector late last month and getting another boost from Venus’ early return to your career sector on 10th September, Mars has another four weeks to drive things forward on the job front. Even then, with the dwarf planet Ceres having returned last month to begin her first deep dive into your needs and priorities on the job front in four years but not leaving until May 2027, this will keep the momentum going. However, where Mars is all gas and no brakes, Ceres will not maintain the same busy pace. At the same time, while as the planet of money, desire and attraction, Venus is more focused on attracting professional potential and the money than on keeping things busy, in partnership with Mars and as a retrograde turn next month is going to make this her longest visit in eight years, they are going to work well together. This will also be a chance for an overlap, with the busiest weeks of the year on the job front running their course on 28th September, but new movement on the career front gaining momentum in order to take it from here. In a big month on both fronts, the Moon’s return to your work sector from 6th September to 8th September and to your career sector from 14th September to 16th September will make these pivotal days.

While Jupiter has been in your work sector since the end of June and your biggest year for job growth and expansion has been underway since then, until late last month this overlapped the annual focus that is on work and job matters at this time of year. By the time Jupiter returned, Venus was already in your work sector and apart from a few days between her departure and the Sun’s return, the focus has been on the more mundane or ordinary aspects of work and job matters that are in the spotlight at this time each year. It wasn’t until the Sun left your work sector on 23rd August and Mercury two days later that this changed. While this took the solar spotlight off your work situation and job matters, this left you with your eyes open and thanks to Mercury, with everything needed to keep your head in the game. However, while the South Node returned at the end of July to act as a guide and with its partner the North Node to monitor how well you know when to keep your work hat on and when to take it off, Jupiter is now the only planet here and the focus has shifted onto your long game and onto his higher aspirations for job growth and expansion which will continue through to when he leaves in July 2027. However, be aware that there is a busier chapter ahead, with Mars returning later next month to spend two months here. Until then, the focus is not only on the long game, but with a lot more focus this month on the money. While Jupiter and the planets moving through your work sector have always had the support of the three planets in your income sector, starting the month at a friendly aspect to Saturn will capture and solidify that support. This will peak on 1st September but will still be separating when the Moon moves through your work sector from 8th September to 10th September. This is the Moon’s first visit since the Sun and Mercury left and coming full circle from last month’s New Moon, this will be a valuable chance to regroup. Meanwhile, some of the best days of the month across the income, work and career fronts will be when the Moon moves through your career sector from 17th September to 19th September.
