Business Horoscopes for Week Commencing: Monday 24 February 2020

   Aries Monday 24 February 2020  Mar 21 - Apr 19
Mars doesn’t so much hit a roadblock as he moves into his second week in your career sector but reaches the same rite of passage that every planet here now or has passed through in the last 18 months has faced. This is an encounter with the lunar nodes, which since late 2018 have been policing a balance between your home and professional lives. This is the only real challenge Mars will face during his time here and with an explosion of potential across the income, work and career fronts in March, the timing couldn’t be better. Mars is also the last planet that will cross the lunar nodes before they leave your home and career sectors in May, with the warrior planet of the cosmos the ideal planet to help you finally crack the code. This shouldn’t slow things down but during the first four days of the week, pay attention to any stress that comes from juggling too many balls. This is one year when you really do need to pace yourself.

   Taurus Monday 24 February 2020  Apr 20 - May 20
This week the professional gods have put things in the hands of the minor players and this gives you a chance to pull back without losing your edge. The Sun’s departure from your career sector last week and the Moon’s over the weekend should have brought all planetary activity here to a close for the year. Instead, with Mercury retrograding back in next week and both Saturn and Mars returning in March, this is more a chance to catch your breath. This gives the dwarf planet Ceres just one full week on her own to make it about her focus on your professional needs and priorities. This gives you a chance to stand back and spend some time focusing on professional satisfaction and a sense of purpose before the next wave begins. At the same time, still in her early weeks in retrograde motion in your work sector, the asteroid Juno has the breaks on, with a chance to retrace your steps. On both the job and career fronts you need this pause.

   Gemini Monday 24 February 2020  May 21 - Jun 21
Starting the week with the Moon in your career sector is always an advantage, allowing you to begin the week with your professional instincts and imagination fuelled from the get go. Even more so when the week begins with a New Moon already underway, allowing you to begin the week with a tailwind at your back, the tide on the turn and everything getting the green light. However, while a New Moon is all about new beginnings, with Mercury in retrograde motion here this also gives you better access to the past, second chances and untapped professional potential. Yet while the Moon will be gone by Wednesday, this is when the Sun and Mercury will not only align but both form a friendly aspect to the North Node in your income sector at the same time. This could see a lot of things come together or fall into place midweek, both professionally and financially.

   Cancer Monday 24 February 2020  Jun 22 - Jul 22
Venus’ last full week in your career sector is a bit of a mixed bag but at the same time delivers everything you need, including the potential for some professional pressure or work/life balance tension. The first challenge Venus will face is having to compete with Monday’s adventurous New Moon, but this can work to your advantage and not just because it will guard against overthinking things ahead of the Moon’s return to your career sector. The Moon will still be in an adventurous part of your chart when Venus moves into opposition with Juno on Tuesday. With Juno in your home and Venus in your career sector, this could create some work/life balance tension or at least drive the message home. Adventurous lunar vibes will make this message easier to heed. This will be behind you by the time the Moon returns to your career sector midweek, where until Friday this will give you a better read on the professional conditions.

   Leo Monday 24 February 2020  Jul 23 - Aug 22
While the Moon won’t return to your career sector until Friday and that might mean keeping your professional hat on over the weekend, the timing couldn’t be better. Had the Moon returned even just a few days earlier you wouldn’t have been able to give this your full attention. For it is during the first four days of the week that Mars, now in his second week in your work sector, will be crossing the lunar nodes. The lunar nodes are policing how well you know when to keep your work hat on and when to take it off, something Mars could rebel against. This could create some work tension or job pressure in the first half of the week but there is a chance to use this as a barometer for how well you are pacing yourself. With busy times ahead, this is important. This will be behind you by the time the Moon returns to your career sector on Friday and with Venus returning there next week, this will bring a valuable chance to regroup over the weekend.

   Virgo Monday 24 February 2020  Aug 23 - Sep 22
You should notice that the pace has dropped back on the job front this week and whether you wanted it to or not, that you have a chance to hear yourself think. This might feel like a lull or that things have run their course but this is the calm before the next wave begins, making it important to make the most of this brief reprieve. While the Sun left your work sector last week and with Venus and Mercury both been and gone this should have brought all planetary activity for the year to a close, that is not the case this year. With Mercury retrograding back in for a double dip visit next week and Mars and Saturn both returning in March, the busiest months of the year are still in front of you. In the meantime, as the dwarf planet Ceres spends her first, last and only full week on her own in your work sector, this is a chance to spend time focused on your needs and priorities, especially when it comes to job satisfaction and a sense of purpose.

   Libra Monday 24 February 2020  Sep 23 - Oct 23
Starting the week with the Moon in your work sector will always be an advantage, especially with a New Moon already underway. As well as beginning the week with an intuitive read on work and job matters from the get go, the New Moon is giving things a tailwind and a lot of momentum. This is akin to putting your boat in the water just as the tide is turning or the wind is picking up. You do still have Mercury in retrograde motion so this might mean you also have the brakes on but it also means that as well as opening new doors, this can also give you better access to the doors open to the past, second chances and untapped job potential. By the time the Sun and Mercury align here on Wednesday, the Moon will be gone but not before leaving you with an intuitive edge that can give you a better read on the insight this will bring into where you've been and where to from here on both the job and career fronts.

   Scorpio Monday 24 February 2020  Oct 24 - Nov 21
As she spends her last full week in your work sector Venus is experiencing a mixed bag of influences but in the process is getting anything challenging out of the way first. The week begins with Venus at a tough aspect to Jupiter that is unlikely to create work tension or job pressure but could put a dent in your confidence. Yet as Jupiter is the planet of luck, this is more about challenging old excuses. This could escalate into actual work tension or job pressure by Tuesday, when Venus moves into opposition with Juno, in retrograde motion in a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart. This is the only real clash Venus will experience and is more a reminder when it comes to knowing when to keep your work hat on and when to take it off. By the time the Moon returns to your work sector midweek any messages will have been delivered and there will be a chance to look at how to make Venus’ final days here count.

   Sagittarius Monday 24 February 2020  Nov 22 - Dec 21
It is business as usual on the job front this week or at least during the majority of the working week. Chances are Mars’ friendly aspect to Uranus in your work sector triggered a lot of eureka moments and fresh ideas last week, which you are still likely to be mulling over. Especially as Mars is in the early stages of mounting a rebellion on the income front. Things do become more work focused on Friday when the Moon not only returns to your work sector but will spend the weekend here. This might appear to be a case of bad timing, but the weekend is often the best time to have the Moon return, giving you more time to hear yourself think and to listen to the valuable clues, hunches and insights being delivered. Especially so this time, because with Venus returning to your work sector next week you are about to enter a more down to earth phase, where it is less about thoughts and more about action.

   Capricorn Monday 24 February 2020  Dec 22 - Jan 19
She might only be an asteroid, but still in her early weeks in retrograde motion in your career sector Juno is standing her ground, keeping you connected professionally in a way that isn’t usually possible at this time of year. This week Juno clashes with Venus in a way that could have implications months down the track. Juno returned for what should have been a two month visit in November but her retrograde turn is instead keeping the queen of commitment here until September. In early April Venus will return for what should be a 24 day visit to your work sector but a retrograde phase will keep her here until August. Juno and Venus are both playing a long game and between April and August will be part of a major surge across the income, work and career fronts. There is a need to be aware of this when Venus and Juno clash at the start of the week, bringing work/life balance reminders that might not be too big a deal now but will be incredibly important over the coming months.

   Aquarius Monday 24 February 2020  Jan 20 - Feb 18
The North Node, which since November 2018 has been quietly keeping work and job matters on track and moving forward is experiencing some mixed conditions this week. This makes it important to take things one day at a time but also to wait until later in the week to make sense of it all, with a little too much information coming in at the same time. The week not only begins with the Moon in your income sector but with a New Moon underway, which is forming a friendly aspect to the North Node on the job front. In the days that follow the Sun and Mercury will both move into the same friendly aspect, especially on Tuesday and Wednesday. This is a chance for income potential to utilise a sense of direction on the job front. However, at the same time Mars is in opposition with the North Node, putting how well you know when to keep your work hat on and when to take it off to the test. Yet the timing couldn’t be better, with knowing where the money is key to working smarter.

   Pisces Monday 24 February 2020  Feb 19 - Mar 20
After Mars’ departure from your career sector at the start of last week and the Moon’s departure last Tuesday, you are in a whole new situation this week. For the first time in over 16 months, you have no planetary or lunar activity in either of your two professional houses, leaving you with no external input. With a Full Moon in your work sector two weeks ago and Mars having just wrapped up 16 months of planetary activity on the career front a week ago, there is no danger of losing your momentum or your professional edge. However, while you have been left with the resources, momentum and untapped income potential to keep this professional year on track there is no longer any pressure or urgency. You are now able to play things in your own way and at your own pace, with a valuable chance this week to regroup. There is a lot in play that needs to play out and run its course.
